The proposed coastal road passes through the TruckCity site. Being a Federal Road designed under the then Lateef Jakande Administration of Lagos State, the Lagos State Ministry of Works is required to agree with the Federal Ministry of Works on the design and alignment of the road.

On Thursday December 1st 2022, at a crucial meeting, the Special Adviser (SA) to the Lagos State Governor on Works and Infrastructure – Engineer Mrs Aramide Adetoye, presented the Federal Ministry of Work’s road cross-section and alignment drawings for Coastal Road (Dangote Refinery – Eleko) to Zedx Global and ARUP. This document will guide the design of the 14km section to the Truck City to be constructed by Zedx Global. The design and alignment ensure clarity on compliance requirements for any property development along the Coastal Road alignment.
