TruckCity covers a land space of 121 hectares of mixed development. It would impact its environment. It is necessary to ensure that it is correctly laid out and planned to be less disruptive while maximizing its potential. With the Atlantic Ocean bordering it on one side, the TruckCity design must be optimal.

On Thursday, 15th December 2022, the Department of Development Matters of the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning came for a site inspection and reconnaissance survey using advanced drone mapping. The ministry’s use of the highly developed drone technology in site mapping is a testament to the Lagos State Government’s strategic technological and environmental credentials of the government of His Excellency Babajide Sanwolu, to ensure that Lagos State stays at the forefront of technological innovation.
