On Thursday, November 3, 2022, the Zedx Global project team was at the Lagos State Government Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja. The meeting at the invitation of the Lagos State Ministry of Transport, discussed the proposed Lekki-Epe Deep Seaport Traffic Solution, a crucial feature of Zedx Global’s TruckCity project.

The meeting discussed Zedx Global’s readiness to move to the site. Leading the Zedx Global team, Executive Director of Zedx Global, Mr Humphrey Nwafor, gave assurances that should the state government provide the approval, Zedx Global could have a preliminary parking solution in place for at least 1000 trucks by January 1, 2023.

The Ministry thanked the Management of Zedx Global Services Limited for identifying the need and creating a solution well in advance. It was agreed that TruckCity would work with the state’s existing Call-Up Software. It was a productive meeting, and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Engr. Abdulhafiz Gbolahan Toriola promised to speed the processes along to enable Zedx Global to move to the site.
